Espadrille workshop at the new Alfiler de Gancho Zaragoza

We're bringing back our most popular workshop! After several years without running it, we're bringing back the Hemp Espadrille Workshop to celebrate our recent new location at Plaza San Felipe 7, 1º A (Zaragoza).

Don't you want to make your own espadrilles? They're the most comfortable, cool, and stylish shoes for summer. We've made it super easy for you to design yours exactly how you want.

All the information about the Workshop

When? Saturday, July 11 , 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (4 hours very well spent).

Where? In our new space at Plaza San Felipe 7, 1º A, Zaragoza.

What are you going to do? You will make your first pair of classic flat espadrilles from start to finish, totally unique and to your liking.

Prices : €60 for new students and €50 if you have taken a course with us in the last 12 months.

How will we do it?
During the afternoon, you'll learn how to adapt patterns to your size, cut the fabric, and sew it to the hemp sole entirely by hand using special threads. For the design, you can choose from the wide variety of beautiful fabrics we'll offer in the workshop, or bring your own fabric if you'd like to coordinate it with a favorite dress.

Do you need to know how to sew?
We only require very basic machine and hand sewing skills (beginner level). You don't need to be an expert: you're in the best hands. We'll guide you step by step so you can enjoy the experience and walk out the door wearing your espadrilles.

What does the course include?
Everything you need! The price includes materials (hemp soles, fabrics, interlinings, threads, glue, scaled patterns...) and the use of all the tools in the class.
