Alabastros Aragoneses and its founder have been working since 1993 to refine the natural attributes of this unique stone – its translucent character, its waters, its peculiar veining… – until obtaining unusual transparencies and lusters.

“ I make sure that each stone is in accordance with its purpose ,” confirms Mercedes herself; “ in fact, I usually try with more than one variety and with different cuts until the work is perfect .”
