Crafts made with sheep's wool from local shepherds, using the Rasa Aragonesa, Maellana, Ojinegra de Teruel, and Roya Bilbilitana breeds. Fairs and craft demonstrations are also part of the project
...The process involves the artisanal transformation of the wool, from selecting the fleeces during shearing to carding, cleaning, and combing. From the clean, carded wool, household textiles, personal care items, and accessories are created using wet felting and needle felting techniques. The project's mission is to promote and utilize rural resources, specifically the sheep's wool from local shepherds, through crafts, natural products, the revival of traditions, the creation of intergenerational connections, and training. Workshops, training sessions, and outreach activities are offered to raise awareness of the properties and uses of sheep's wool, as well as to transmit local traditions and knowledge. Promoter and founder of the project “Obellas, wool in motion” which links several women from Matarraña with the use of wool.
